On 25th of September 2011 Rural development society (RDS) organized a youth fellowship program, the event was started at 4.00pm with the small opening prayer by one of the cardinal female youth member named as Zahidha Micheal , there was a gathering of roundabout 23 youth members in total consist of  boy and girls, soon shortly after the prayer Mr.Rameez Arif  a current youth coordinator took the charge of hosting the program firstly he gave the awareness to the young generation about the main purpose of youth fellowship, its history in the world and its crucial role in today’s era  on different circumstances of society. Mr. Rameez is the most capable members of our RDS staff, he is performing his duties with full devotion and compassion from the past 1.5 years with the RDS, his resilience and courage of conviction is unprecedented.

RDS planned to organize an activity with their network organizations on International Peace Day 23rd September 2011. We planned to conduct such “PEACE WALK” for the continuity of peace promotion process among the new buds of the nation and society. Read more >>>>

On 8th March 2011 Rural Development Society (RDS) Celebrate 100 Anniversary of women’s day at RDS Centre. The program was started with short prayer then Ms. Zahida Assistant Women’s Coordinator start the program by its schedule and gave a debate about the value of women and their rights and how they can be more essential for their family, because most of the participants are working women’s.
Ms. Zahida also give them awareness about women rights and working women rights  and what are the conditions of women’s in remote/ backward areas of our community.

On International Women’s Day 2010, RDS hosted a program in this regard in Mubarak Colony, Sargodha, Pakistan. The Project Director made presentations and discussed accomplishments and challenges with respect to gender in education, health, small and medium enterprise development, infrastructure, agriculture, rural development and urban governance.

On 13th May2010 Rural Development Society (RDS) Organized a free medical camp in Dasua New Colony, Faisalabad for highly vulnerable and marginalized habitants of that area are deprived from the basic medical assistance, due to poverty, lack of medical health care centers infect the Dasua New Colony is endemic with the numerous fatal disease and the masses are oblivious from the fact that which lethal consequences they can perceive after suffering from these devastating illnesses.

RDS is committed to improving socio-economic condition of the people of rural sector/remote areas. To achieve sustainable results, RDS needs to host such programs in which there is a strong and frequent interaction between these people and the RDS team. In this regard a first step was initiated in the form of a program in which children were distributed gifts. This is RDS’s basic operating principle. To this end, RDS will focus on information provision, on strengthening basic facilities to the children especially. All these efforts are conducted within the context of educational plans for these children.

Rural Development Society (RDS) Organized a Musical Charity Program for the victims of flood in Pakistan. RDS is working on grass root level and have not yet enough funds to help the victims of flood because this disaster is very huge.
RDS also arrange a theater program in this show and the central theme of this  theater is that a disable man who want to help the victims of flood but he have no sources because he is a handicap person but he have a passion to help them and he participate in world disable marathon and he try his best and won that race.
